🇫🇷 France Alerts (MeteoAlarm) — Official Météo-France warnings now appear on the map via the MeteoAlarm Atom feed. Colour-coded to your alert levels automatically.
🇩🇪 Germany & UK Alerts — DWD (Germany) and Met Office (UK) warnings also live via MeteoAlarm. All 33 European countries are supported by the same system.
🌍 Global Rebranding — Removed all country-specific wording so SevereScope works anywhere. Map now opens centred on Europe by default.
📋 Updates Page Rewrite — Accurate recent changelog with no sensitive information.
🇳🇴 MET Norway MetAlerts — Live official warnings from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute appear on the map as polygons, auto-mapped to Outlook / Watch / Warning colour scale.
🇺🇸 NWS USA Alerts — All active US National Weather Service alerts fetched from api.weather.gov and overlaid on the map. No API key required.
🛰 Official Alerts Panel — Collapsible sidebar section shows all official alerts sorted by severity. Tap any card to fly the map to that alert polygon.
🔄 Auto-refresh — Official alerts refresh every 5 minutes with a manual refresh button and last-updated timestamp.
📱 Mobile Zoom Reload Fixed — Pinch-zooming the map on iOS no longer reloads the page. Fixed via viewport meta tags and Leaflet touch settings.
🗂 Collapsible Sidebar — On mobile, the alerts sidebar collapses to a slim bar and expands on tap, giving the map maximum space.
📐 Mobile UI Polish — Nav scrolls horizontally, modals slide up from the bottom, larger touch targets throughout.
🌧 Radar Quality Improved — Switched to colour scheme 6 (classic radar palette) for better visibility. Tile buffer prevents spotty gaps while panning.
🖼 Avatar Update in Profile — Tap your avatar in the profile modal to change your photo anytime. Saved to Firestore — no paid Storage needed.
🔒 Admin Login Hardened — Autocorrect and autocapitalize disabled on login fields. Show/hide password button added. Fields trimmed before comparing to prevent invisible-space failures on mobile.
🎨 6 Website Themes — Jellyfish (default), Pink, Ocean, Forest, Music, and Pride. Your choice is saved and restored on next visit.
